body awareness, meditation and personal reflection.
Katy Levit, HHC will help us focus on living well today. Find a realistic
fountain of youth through nutrition. What you eat and the role that food plays in your life
can impact how you feel, how you look, and the state of your health. Learn what foods make our bodies run best and why. Discover
the role of certain foods on aging and health. Learn how to be satisfied, mentally and physically, with your food choices.
Life isn’t about racing against the clock, so sit back, eat some good food and enjoy yourself.
Jacob Godwin, L.Ac., M.A.O.M.
will talk about how acupuncture
and oriental medicine are inherently holistic. The process of aging is just a natural part of a full developmental cycle.
Getting older is not a bad thing; it is the whole point of being here. When properly managed, each phase of development can
bring you joy and life. Jacob will address mind-body changes as we age and how we can live in harmony with those changes and
avoid the negative consequences of fighting mother nature.
Fabianna Laby, PsyD will address how women can counter the pressures
from a youth-oriented culture by harnessing the power of their thinking and where they choose to focus attention.
Corey Strunk
will offer a Mini Boot Camp with focus on core
strengthening exercises.
